Abstract

683,577. Hatch covers. MEGE, P. A. Nov. 15, 1950. [Dec. 2, 1949] No. 27948/50. Class 113(i). A hatch cover has transverse sections hinged together and running on the hatch coaming on rollers 4a, 4b &c. The cover 2a at the end at which the covers are stowed has an arm 12, pivoted to it at 14 and having a deck supported pivot 13. A hauling wire from the operating winch 20 is attached to the remote section and led over guide pulleys on the other sections and over the fixed pulley 18.
