605,238. Boat lowering gear. SCHAT, A. P. Dec. 18, 1945, No. 34320. [Class 115] To provide an auxiliary raising and lowering device, additional to the main boat winch 9, the falls are led through a block 10, this being attached to a rope 13 which can be wound on the drum of a deck winch 14, or other auxiliary hoisting winch. In a modified arrangement the falls can be led separately to the auxiliary winch.
