Abstract

681,339. Kinematograph cameras. PAILLARD SOC. ANON. April 19, 1951 [June 5, 1950], No. 9150/51. Class 97 (i). The camera has a bent release lever at one corner of the casing movable parallel to the corner being thereby accessible at two faces of the camera. In the form shown, the lever 1, which is moved downwards to start the camera, is urged upwards by a spring blade 5. The lever projects through the side wall 3 and is bent round to overlap the front wall 2. It carries a finger 7 with an abutment 8. The finger projects into a notch 10 in a disc 9, the notch having an abutment 11. The disc projects from the casing to be movable manually between two positions determined by a spring detent engaging holes 12, 13. In one such position the finger 7 can enter and leave the notch freely as the lever 1 is moved. In the other position the abutments 8, 11 lock the lever 1 in up or down position.
