[Class 98 (i)] A shutter release for a folding camera comprises a lever b pivoted as at c on the baseboard a and formed with a part d normally projecting beyond the edge of the baseboard adjacent the hinge thereof for engagement by a finger or thumb to rock the lever against the action of a spring h, to cause its free end b<SP>1</SP> to operate the shutter trigger. In another 'form the lever is L- shaped, so that the finger piece d and the shutter trigger are on opposite sides of the camera.
