Abstract

493,208. Photographic shutters. LEONG, C. H. April 12, 1937, No. 10402. [Class 98 (i)] A shutter disc A is mounted on a central pin B and rests on two projections C from a base plate D so that it may rotate and also oscillate on the projections C. Corrugations G are formed on the edge of the disc opposite the exposure aperture H and are loosely engaged by a forked lever K so that the speed of the disc is reduced when a slower exposure is desired. The engaging teeth are arranged at the extreme end of the lever K, and for an ordinary snapshot are set over the smooth surface of the disc. For a time exposure, the teeth are set in the path of the stop J. Specification 207,637, [Class 98 (i)], is referred to.
