Kinematograph apparatus. - A camera for taking either one or a succession of pictures as described in the parent Specification is fitted with improved controlling-apparatus. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, the notched disk 50 on the main shaft of the mechanism, which is driven by hand or clockwork, is normally locked by the lever 102. To take a number of pictures, the press-button 66 is held down and may be retained under the catch 115 so that the whole mechanism is free to operate. To take a single photograph, the press-button 71 is operated, which, in moving the lever 102, releases the disk 50. The same operation, however, moves the slide 108 to cause the arm 109 to engage a notch on the disk 50. The time lag between these two operations allows sufficient rotation of the disk to permit of one photograph being taken.
