681,318. Vaporizers. POTTER, F. J., and LODDON ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. July 12, 1950.. No. 17497/50. Class 7 (iii). The volume of exhaust gases passing through a vaporizer 2 to an exhaust pipe 3 is controlled by a valve 13 by-passing some of the exhaust gases directly from the exhaust manifold 1 to a separate exhaust pipe 10. The vaporizer 2 may be constructed as described in Specification 652,256 and comprises a casing surrounding an elbow 4 of the combustible mixture intake pipe. The valve 13 comprises a disc valve journalled in a flanged member 7 bolted on the exhaust manifold 1.
