677,304. Roller mills. MIAG VERTRIEBRGES. Sept. 7, 1950 [Sept. 10, 1949], No. 22024/50. Class 59 Apparatus for indicating the grinding slit width in roller mills comprises a nut 6 which is movable along a member 7 towards or away from the hub 10 of a handwheel 11, a mark or graduation 12 provided on the hub co-operating with a graduation 13 on the nut. The latter is adapted to swing a forked lever 5 fastened on an eccentric shaft 4 connected through a bar 3 to lever bearings 2 holding the loose roller 1. A vernier graduation may be marked on the edge of the hub for co-operation with a reference mark 14 on the nut. The graduation may be fitted upon bushes connected to the adjustment members or upon extensions of the adjustment members.
