748,722. Grass-edging shears. SCOTT, A. July 28, 1954 [Sept. 29, 1953], No. 26664/53. Class 30. Grass-edging shears are supported in a predetermined cutting position by a wheel rolling on the surface of the lawn. As shown, one end of an L-shaped bracket A forms a bearing for the wheel B the other end of the bracket having a slot through which the pivot bolt C passes to be secured by a nut D. A stop pin E is provided. In a modification one blade of the shears is provided with an integral L-shaped bracket the other end of which carries a wheel or roller.
