676,203. Thread-guide supporting mechanism. AKT.-GES. T. I. RIETER & CIE. Dec. 15, 1948 [Aug. 20, 1948], No. 32489/48. Class 120(ii) A thread - guide mechanism comprises an elongated support 4 of circular cross section, a thread guide 2 carried by a lappet 1 movably mounted on said support and having a substantially semicircular curved baseportion 3 conforming to the shape of the support and embracing said support only in part, the base portion being provided with a slot 5 extending circumferentially of said support, and a guide-member 6 secured to the support within said slot, said guide-member overlapping portions of the base portion bounding said slot therein and being adapted to maintain the thread guide lappet in axially adjusted relationship with the support 4 and to limit movement of the guidemember relatively to the support to an upper position, and a lower operative position. A longitudinal slot may be provided in the support 4 for inserting the guidemember 6 so that adjacent lappets 1 are properly aligned. The support 4 may be rotated by some means to raise all the lappets 1 and thread guides 2 simultaneously if required.
