1,197,365. Knitting - machines. ELITEXZAVODY TEXTILNHO STROJIRENSTVI, GENERALNI REDITELST VI. 2 April, 1968 [3 April, 1967], No. 15823/68. Heading D1C. A multifeeder circular machine in which the main and reinforcing yarns are severed at positions 15, 14 spaced apart, have the yarn ends held pneumatically under a suction effect created through a nozzle which at its open end assumes a somewhat distorted elongated configuration 32a beneath which the yarns pass between it and the top of the dial. The nozzle extends above the dial and its section is gradually changed until it reaches the neck of the suction tube 31 of circular cross-section connecting it to a source. The cross-sectional area of the nozzle is constant throughout its length.
