Abstract

676,103. Rotary feeders. LOCKERS (ENGINEERS). Ltd., and LOCKER, J. R. April 17, 1950. [April 23, 1949] No. 10829/49. Class 78 (i). Fig. 2. Material is fed from hopper 17 through hole 18 by agitator 19 and falls into chamber 15 whence it is discharged by rotor 27 through hole 32, the material falling down shoot 33 and being discharged therefrom by shaker conveyer 34, the level of the material being controlled within limits by devices 35 and 36 which govern the driving motor 12 of the agitator and rotor. Breather-hole 37 covered with cloth or mesh permits escape of air.
