[Also in Group XXXV] The vibrating armature a of a voltage regulator is supported by a screw h having an adjust- .able nut i engaging a member g fixed to a flat spring d. The spring d is rivetted to a limb c of the electromagnet, and normally urges the armature contact e into engagement with a fixed contact f, but when the electromagnet is energized the core b attracts the armature to break the circuit. A corner formed by the spring d and the fixed end of the member g locates the pivotal end of bhe armature.
