671,606. Pistons. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG-NURNBERG AKT.-GES. May- 5, 1950 [Oct. 1, 1948], No. 11215/50. Drawings to Specification. Class 122(i) A piston is formed entirely or partly of a mixture of sintered metal and ceramic powder. The proportion of ceramic powder may increase from 0 per cent to 100 per cent in the direction of the piston head or the head may comprise a layer of pure ceramic ajoining a layer having varying proportions of metal powder terminating in a layer of pure metal which is welded or sintered to a metal skirt.
