Abstract

665,919. Building units. ROBERTSON CO., H. H. Jan. 14,1949, No. 1120/49. Class 87(i) A building unit comprises corrugated and flat metal plates 12, 14 secured together in spaced relation by metal channel members 16 bolted thereto. The channel members may be of coated metal as described in Specification 391,936, [Group XIII]. A felt sheet 19 may be secured to the inner face of the corrugated metal plate 12 and the space between this and the flat plate 14 is filled by glass fibre boards 18. The side edges of the plates 12, 14 are bent to form tongues 20 and grooves 22. At the abutting horizontal edges of two units, the edges of the metal plates are offset at 24 for interengagement.
