Abstract

757,418. Building panels. SELECTION ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Feb. 1.8, 1955 [Jan. 14, 1954], No. 1152/54. Class 87(1). [Also in Group VIII] A collapsible building panel comprises asbestos cement facing sheets 1, 2 which are connected together by metal strips 3 hinged to the sheets or to staggered battens 4, 5. The panel is held in the open position shown by a member 7 secured between a batten 4 and the opposite sheet 2. Supporting posts are received within and screwed to the vertical edges of the panels.
