661,301. Printing; delivery apparatus. BLOCK & ANDERSON, Ltd., BENELLO, E. M., and GERLACH, H. April 5, 1949, No. 9286/49. Classes 100 (i) and 100 (ii). In a. rotary printing-machine, shown as a rotary hectographic copying machine, sheets are fed between a printing-couple 1, 2 which deliver them printed face upwards on to a stationary, sloping, intermediate table 13, and a driven roller 16, rotating in fixed bearings, then delivers the sheets on to a tray 20. As shown, the roller 16 protrudes through a slot. in the table, but it could be arranged at the end of the table, in which case the table 13 is inclined at a greater angle so that the sheets deposited thereon will slide back on to the roller. The tray 20 has a front stop 25 arranged on a sliding extension 23, and a sheet-deflecting plate 26 mounted in the side flanges 21. The drum 1, carrying the master sheet, is driven through gearing and a clutch by a pulley 5 which is driven by a belt 6 from a pulley 7, the belt passing over a pulley 19 on the feed roller 16 to rotate the latter. The pulley 7 is on a countershaft which is driven from a main shaft 11 by a belt 9.
