Abstract

661,216. Rotary compressors. VOZNICA, K. Feb. 18, 1949, No. 4514/49. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 22, 1949.] Class 110(ii) An eccentric rotor 5 has outwardly-sliding, vanes comprising alternatively a whole plate 17, extending the length of the working chamber, and half plates 17<SP>1</SP> enclosing a wedge-shaped space 17<SP>11</SP> to which oil under centrifugal pressure is admitted. An arcuate suction groove 10, in an end wall 8, and a delivery groove 11, in a wall 9, connect with inlet ducts 20, 20<SP>1</SP> and delivery ducts 21, 21<SP>1</SP>, Fig. 3 (not shown), respectively. The duct 11 has an outlet 14 leading to space 15 and delivery fluid passes from here through a filter 18 to a connecter 16. The casing ring 6 is held between end walls 8, 9 by screws 25. Lubricating ducts 27, 28, 29, 30 are under pressure of the delivery fluid in the space 15.
