Abstract

<PICT:0658931/III/1> A fuel vapour recovery system for an aircraft gas-turbine plant consists of an air-cooled condenser 33 mounted in the forward end of the engine air inlet 11 and connected by a pipe 32 to the top of the fuel tank 31. The condenser is in the form of a number of coils connected at their lowermost points by openings 36. Condensed vapour is returned to the fuel tank through a pipe 39 fitted with a pump 40. An air vent valve 41 is fitted at the top of the condenser.
