658,238. Sewing-machines. SAVORY, F. R. Nov. 4, 1947, No. 10971. Divided out of 658,181. [Class 112] [Also in Group XXIV] Stands; driving.-A sewing-machine, particularly a linking-machine, is adjustably mounted on its support; driving means for the machine may also be adjustably mounted. In the arrangement shown, the base 3 of the machine is hinged to the top of the supporting pillar 1 by a bolt 7 at one edge and is adjustably secured at the opposite edge by slotted lugs engaged by a' bolt 6. A driving motor 14 is carried by a vertical base 19 hinged to the pillar at 18 and secured adjustably by slotted lugs engaging the bolt 7. Specification 658,181, [Group XXIV], is referred to.
