Abstract

655,362. Printing processes. KREGLEWSKI, E. Dec. 29, 1947, No. 34493. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 29, 1947.] [Class 100 (ii)] In simultaneous two-sided rotary offset colour printing using rubber-cloth covered cylinders a, a<SP>1</SP>, mutually serving as counterpressure cylinders, resilient printing plates are used secured to plate cylinders b, c, d, e, g and bl, c<SP>1</SP>, d<SP>1</SP>, e<SP>1</SP> arranged around intermediate cylinders m, m<SP>1</SP> at each side, from which the complete prints are transferred to the counterpressure cylinders. As shown, the separate colours are fed from inkers f on to rubber mirror-image high-relief plates fixed on the plate cylinders. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also an arrangement wherein right-image rubber plates are used on the cylinders b, c, &c. which are arranged directly round the cylinders a, a<SP>1</SP>, the cylinders m, m<SP>1</SP> being omitted. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
