652,898. Suspending curtains. HARRISON, (BIRMINGHAM), Ltd., and SAYER, A. L. June 8, 1948, No. 15374. [Class 52 (v)] A bracket for supporting flanged curtain rails comprises an attachment member 11 with an extension arm 10 which embraces the outer edge of the rail 12. A retaining member 15 pivoted to the arm 10 has a curved end 17 bent away from the arm and curved so that its upper surface 16 is of convex form so when the retaining member is moved into a locking position it engages the flange with a wedging action. The member 15 has a slot which can be engaged by a screwdriver to facilitate its release.
