799,214. Suspending curtains; pelmets. LEVOLOR LORENTZEN, Inc. Aug. 10, 1956 [Aug. 25, 1955], No. 24526/56. Class 52(5) An end fitting 24 telescopically applied to the end of a cornice strip 10 has a part 25 overlying the vertical outer face and the upper and lower edges 12 of the strip, a vertical web 26 overlying the end of the strip, and means for making holding engagement with the strip. The end fitting may be formed as a metal stamping and the web 26 has pressed out formations 27 which abut the wall and prevent damage to its surface. Angled flanges 30, 31, 32 resiliently engage the inside of the cornice strip and apertures 28 in the flanges are engaged by a curtain hook 33 to support the top end of a curtain 16 at a selected height.
