652,585. Reinforced concrete. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP SCHOKINDUSTRIE. Nov. 12, 1948, No. 29419. Convention date, Dec. 10, 1947. [Class 20(iv)] A reinforcement for prestressed concrete comprises a steel cable having at most six separate strands twisted around the axis of the cable and each composed of at most four wires 5 twisted together. With this arrangement, concrete is able to reach and bond with all the wires forming the cable. The cable may have a core 3 of stranded wires, or a single wire of larger diameter than the wires forming the strands may be used as a core, or the core may be entirely omitted.
