651,877. Boxes. SCOTTISH AVIATION, Ltd., and HOWGATE, W. S. April 9, 1948, No. 9961. [Classes 18 and 66] A fish box made of sheet metal has upwardly diverging side and end walls 11, 12 and a detachable recessed lid 13 having a peripheral flange with a returned lip 17 that straddles the top edge of the box, the lid flange and the box having registering holes 18 to receive securing wires. The base and the side and end walls may be stiffened by swages. 14, 15, 16 and the box may be provided with a destination cardholder 20, Fig. 5 (not shown), at one end and have a recess 19 at each end for handling. The lids and boxes may be nested separately when empty and the closed boxes may be stacked with the base of one box in the lid recess of another.
