718,208. Containers. PRESSOTURN, Ltd., and PETTERSON, L. W. April 7, 1953, [April 4, 1952.] No: 8678/52. Classes 18 and 66. Open-mouthed containers 1 of reduced crosssection at the closed end as compared with the open end are provided with coplanar external projections 7 adjacent the closed end and.coplanar internal projections 6 at the open end so arranged that in the position shown the projections 7 of the upper container rest on the projections 6 of the lower container and the one container is stacked on the other, but that if the upper container be rotated through e.g. 180 degrees the projections 7 may pass through the spaces intermediate of the projections 6 so that the containers are nested. In the nesting position the projections 7 may engage with and rest upon a step 5 whose width is greater than the horizontal width of the internal projections. As shown the projections are made by pressing the body walls or they may be made of separate metallic or non-metallic parts. The bottom of the container is corrugated as at 8.
