Abstract

[Class 99(i)] [Also in Group XVIII] In a petrol pump in which the hose 8 is connected to a swivel casting 16 at the top of a housing 3, which encloses the pumping and metering apparatus and above which is an illuminated globe 19, the casting 16 is mounted to swivel on a body 14 and on a tubular pivot 15, and through the tube 15 leads 23, enclosed in a conduit 20, pass to the lamp. The swivel casting 16 is secured on the tube 15 by a ring nut 17, locked by a grub screw 15a and has annular recesses in which are located rubber rings 24 for effecting a fluid-tight seal between the swivel casting and the body member and pivot tube.
