[Class 69 (i)] [Also in Group XXI] A stand pipe or hydrant 1 is connected to the mains by coupling means 2 and has connected to the swivel-jointed outflow 5 at 7 any known type of flowmeter. A manually-operated valve 6 is incorporated in the stand pipe and one or more connections 8 on the inlet side of the valve 6 provide for the connection of pressure indicating or recording apparatus.
