Abstract

268,146. Chambers, C., and Weightman, J. S. April 14, 1926. Fixed-chamber apparatus. - A measuring-tap consists of a casing 10 with two measuring-chambers 12 separate by a partition-like valve 31, which controls the inlet and outlet passages so that one chamber fills as the other empties. The liquid enters through a spigot 17 leading to a groove 8 at the back of the valve, and is discharged by a spout 20 between the chambers. The valve consists of a web 31 with flanges 32 connecting upper and lower disc-like parts 35, 36. The measuring- chambers have glass fronts 25. Air passages 46, 48 are provided.
