A pump comprises a non-deformable liquid chamber 1 inlet and outlet conduits 7, 5 with valves 17, 10 and a connection 26 to a deformable bulb 25. The valve 10 comprises a rubber tube secured at one end to the conduit 5 and having a flattened free end 14. A rubber disc 28 secured to the body 1 supports the pump in a vessel 30. The inlet valve may be of the same construction as the outlet valve shown.
