Abstract

647,396. Couplings. GROTEFELD, H. W. G., and SMALL, C. J. P. Nov. 2, 1948, No. 28418. [Class 38 (i)] In a terminal connection for a loud-speaker voice coil, the' conductor 13 of the coil is wound helically about a filament 14 and the helix directly connected to a stationary terminal. The end of the connection is reinforced with a helix of tinned copper wire 15 prior to attaching it to the terminal. The conductor 13 may be aluminium ribbon and the filament 14 is preferably a copper tinsel.
