647,384. Turbine blades. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Oct. 5, 1948, No. 25932. [Class 110(iii)] Rotor blades 6, 8, 10, 12 have fir-tree roots inserted in transverse grooves in the rotor periphery and have platforms which abut and so completely screen the rotor. The stator blades 5, 7, 9, 11 have bulb roots and have platform extensions which abut. Specifications 635,665, 647,385 and 647,386 are referred to in the Provisional Specification.
