Abstract

647,374. Vehicle lamps. BUTLERS, Ltd. Aug. 10, 1948, No. 21063. [Classes 75(ii) and 75 (iv)] The front glass g of a vehicle lamp is secured to the lamp body a by being mounted within a metal ring d by means of a grooved lining which is made of resilient material (rubber) and which is provided with a beading h so that the latter can spring into a circumferential groove c on a spigot portion of the lamp body. An inwardly extending flange f on the ring d encloses the lining which is preferably hollow.
