Abstract

645,399. Hooks. FLUX, R. L. Sept. 21, 1948, No. 24733. [Class 89(ii)] [Also in Group I] Hooks 14 are rigidly secured to rods 15 rotatably mounted in the opposite sides of the flange 13, defining the charging opening of a sack holder 11, the rods being interconnected by a link 16 pinned at its ends to short oppositely directed arms 17 secured to the rods so that when the handle 20 carried by one of the rods 15 is pulled down the rods are rotated and the hooks retracted through apertures 19 to release the sack engaged thereby. A spring 21 biasses the hooks to the sack engaging position.
