[Class 122(v)] [Also in Group XXXIV] In the hub of a hoe disc or other agri cultural machine, the outer part of a laby rinth device comprises packing rings 8 spaced by distance rings 10 and is tightened between a shoulder 3a of a bore 3 in the hub 2 and the outer ring 4 of a ball, roller or ring lubricated bearing by a spacing member 12 and the hoe disc 1. The inner part of the labyrinth, interleaving the outer packing rings 8, comprises packing rings 9 spaced by distance rings 11, and is tightened against the face of the inner ring 5 of the bearing by a flange 14 of a shaft 6 and a nut 19, a washer 18, a supporting member 7, an annular cover disc 17 and a spacing member 13 being interposed. The invention may be applied to a shaft revolving in a fixed housing and a labyrinth may be placed on either side of one or more bearings. The spacing member 12 may alternatively be screwed in the hub bore.
