[Class 65(ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] A kingpin for connecting the truck bolster 12 to the body bolster 11 of a railway vehicle comprises two complementary members A, B each having a partly cylindrical surface disposed between the headed parts 28, 29 and an inwardly directed flange or lug 31. The pin is assembled by inserting member B to its uppermost position, then inserting member A obliquely until the parts are in their correct relative positions and then lowering them together to the position shown to enable the retaining bolt to be fitted.
