[Class 38 (ii)] [Also in Group XL (c)] An inter-valve coupling for a video amplifier comprises an insulating former 10 on which are wound two coils 11 and 12, one end of each coil being led to a common terminal 14 and the remaining ends of the coils bearing terminals 15, and coil 12 is wound from wire of appreciable resistance, which thus reduces its " Q " value. Coil 11 is connected between the anode of one valve of the amplifier and a grid of a succeeding valve and forms a series peaking coil. The terminal 15 of coil 12 is connected to a hightension source and coil 12 forms a shunt peaking coil.
