Abstract
590,203. Impedance networks. PATELHOLD PATENTVERWERTUNGS- & ELEKTRO-HOLDING AKT.-GES. Jan. 5, 1945, No. 516. Convention date, Oct. 16, 1943. [Class 40 (iii)] Two or more coil systems 15, 16, Fig. 4, of the kind described in Specification 585,995 and each comprising a pair of helices wound on the same former or core, are connected in parallel at their input terminals 1, 2, while their output terminals are connected in series between an overall pair of output terminals 3, 4. This arrangement gives an impedance transformation ratio of 1 :4. Two or more such systems may be connected in cascade, Fig. 4. Three pairs of coils may be connected as shown in Fig. 3, and if n coils are similarly connected the impedance transformation ratio is 1 : n<2>. The method may be used for matching a push-pull oscillator to an aerial, Fig. 5 (not shown).
