640,922. Trestles. THOMAS MACHINE CO., Ltd., THOMAS, A., and STAPLES, G. F. May 13, 1947, No. 12864. [Class 52 (iii)] A decorator's trestle, adjustable for height, has a deck 1 at each end of which are pivoted links 2 pivotally connected at 4 to legs whose upper ends may be connected to the deck at various positions. The legs consist of A-frames one leg frame being narrower at the top than the other so that its upper end may pass through the other frame when, during adjustment, the legs need to cross. One of the legs may be detached from its link so that the remainder of the trestle may be collapsed. An extension deck having one leg may be hooked on to the main deck and the trestle is constructed of aluminium or aluminium alloy.
