648,111. Hinges. HUMBERSTONE, J. E. Nov. 25, 1948, No. 30603. [Class 65(ii)] [Also in Group X] Legs 6 are secured to a tripod ladder 2 by universal joints one pivotal axis of each of which is provided by a transverse rod 1 which can form the top rung. U-shaped clips 4 at the tops of the legs are secured by bolts 5 which engage grooves 3 in the rod 1 and spread may be limited by stops 8 below the clips.
