[Class 64(i)] ]Also in Group XII] In a central-heating boiler of the type provided with a hopper feeding fuel to a combustion zone at the bottom of the furnace through which primary air is deiivered, the waste gases passing through internal boiler flues (see Group XII) a water-jacketed tuyere 21 provides an auxiliary water heating chamber and water walls 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 110 define a combustion chamber 4 divided by the partition 14 and side return flues 5 leading to a bottom flue 6. The side flues 5 owing to the slope of the walls 8 decrease in width towards the bottom, but increase in dimension from back to front of the boiler from the level of the bottom of the hopper 2 to the bottom of the flues as shown by the dotted lines in Fig. 2.
