Abstract

638,920. Earpiece attachments. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. June 27, 1947, No. 17047. [Class 40 (iv)] The free end 5 of a head-band supporting a telephone earpiece or a deaf aid is loosely fitted into a slot 2 in a pad 1, and is retained therein by a flexible projection 4 pressed out of the end 5 engaging a hole 3 in the pad. Alternatively the pad may be formed of a resilient material and the band be provided with a rigid projection. Various shapes of pad and types of projection are described.
