Abstract
638,268. Ice cream wafer server. BERRY, T., and BERRY, S. June 28, 1948, No. 17384. [Class 28(i)] The ice cream wafer server includes a counting device associated with its handle, the counter being actuated upon a false bottom of the server being moved in one direction or the other. The axis of the counter 11 is preferably parallel with the handle 3 so that an arm 12 carried by the spindle 13 of the counter may be rocked by a bent rod 14 depending from the false bottom 4 so as to pass through a hole in the rocking arm 12. Alternatively the rod 14 may be replaced by a bar or part of a cylinder having a cam slot for accommodating the end of the rocking arm 12. The numbers indicated on the counter may b e displayed through an aperture or window in the handle or, alternatively, the handle 3 may be removable to expose the counter for inspection.
