696,403. Securing knobs to shafts. LANDIS & GYR AKT.-GES. Oct. 18, 1951 [Oct. 30, 1950], No. 24366/51. Class 80 (ii). A knob 1 is secured to a spindle 8 by an elastic plate 3, supported at two opposite sides in seatings 4, 5 in the knob and having a hole 6 through which the spindle passes, a screw 9 in the knob engaging a hole 7 in the plate which may be thereby bent to engage with the spindle. The plate 3 may be slotted, and the spindle 8 may be circular or non-circular in cross-section.
