Abstract

919,300. Circlips; attaching handles to roseplates. BENGTSSON, S. W. Sept. 9, 1960 [Sept. 12, 1959], No. 31158/60. Classes 44 and 89 (2). A handle 1 is secured to a bearing-plate 3 by a circlip 12 which is of synthetic resinous material. The circlip has a non-circular periphery, and is pressed into a similar recess 10 in the plate 3, and is formed from at least two parts whose flanges engage a slot 11 in the handle portion, 2. The handle may have an extension 5 for engagement with a lock, or an extension 6 on the handle, may be, secured to the door or like member to which the handle is secured.
