Abstract

An expansible and collapsable corrugated metal wall commonly known as metallic bellows is formed of an alloy having the composition Cu 81 per cent, Zn 18 per cent, Sn 1 per cent. The proportion of tin may vary slightly i.e. by + or - 0.1 per cent, the proportions of copper and zinc being correspondingly adjusted.
