Abstract

236,747. Penner, A. L. Aug. 7, 1924. Alloys.-A solder, particularly for aluminium, is made by melting together about equal proportions of lead and tin, stirring, adding smaller proportions of zinc, aluminium and antimony, melting the whole, stirring, and allowing the product to cool. The preferred composition is 13 parts of lead, 11 of tin, 4 of zinc, “ of aluminium, and 1 of antimony.
