Abstract

A solder for aluminium consists of a mixture of 22 parts of zinc, 14 of tin, 3 of mercury, substantially 1 of aluminium and a small amount of lead not exceeding 1 part. The proportion of lead may be decreased in proportion to the increase in the proportion of aluminium, the lowest amount of lead being 1/2 part and the highest amount of aluminium 1 1/2 parts.
