Abstract

158,740. Heskett, W. P. Nov. 21, 1919. Metal powder is obtained bv the self-disintegration of alloys. 40 per cent of manganese, 10 per cent of iron, 10 per cent of aluminium, 5 per cent of tin, 15 per cent of zinc, and 10 per cent of lead, or other combinations of some or all of the metals iron, manganese, copper, zinc, tin, lead, aluminium, antimony, and bismuth, may be alloyed together, the product as it cools falling to powder.
