To all whomit may concern:
Be it known that I, Fos'rnn MILLLKIIJN, a citizen of the United States, and a res dent of Lawrence, in the county of Nassaul-g nd State of New York, have invented a'neyv- Copper 50 to 60 per cent. Nickel 28 to 36 Zinc -I 4 to 8 Iron 4 to 8 These metals are melted together and the resultant alloy is very efiicncious us an acid resisting metal used particularly for resisting the principal eculs, alkalis, and mixtures, also to resist high temperatures.
This alloy difi'ers from the one described in the Letters Patent of the United States, No. 1,310,363, granted to me on July '15, 1919, by the low percentages of the zinc and iron and the increased percentage of nickel.
I claim:
An alloy consisting of the following ingredients in substantially the following proportions, namely:
Copper 50 to 60 per cent. Nickel 28 to 36 L Zinc 4 to 8 k Iron 4". to 8 FOSTER MILLIKEN.
